What's up people.....as much as I bash people for trying to re-live the 90's, and I have well reason to do so cause that's just not where the money's at, but finally, someone who does it, but knows how to do it "Wright!" Dizzy Wright's Golden age tape bumps, and he's definitely about the 90's, but realizes he still needs some of the qualities from this new age music to make shit pop, that and the fact that his lyrical ability is dope as fuck.
I downloaded the tape a couple days ago, just got around to listening to it this morning on the way to work, and I was rocking the whole time. I had already heard a couple of the songs off of his youtube videos. My cousin kenny put me onto him about a month and a half ago with "Kill em with Kindness." That song and video is crazy as hell. He spits so much knowledge in his raps, it should be illegal.
After you put yourself in this game, and then you go back and listen to what these rappers are talking about, shit hits you, shit that normally wouldn't if you didn't lead the life of a rap artist. Likewise on all the other rappers albums, such as Drake, & J cole. They be speaking of some things that some people have not experienced, that I have.....You would have to be a rapper.
So for all you rappers that's trying to "keep it in the 90's," & there are A LOTTTTT of you, go cop that Dizzy wright "The Golden age," give that a gander then hop back in the lab!
